JENKINTOWN, PA—Former Manor College and two-time National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III First-Team All-American midfielder/forward Mark Colville (Philadelphia, PA) (2012-2013) was recognized at halftime of the Manor College College-Central Pennsylvania College Men's Soccer match.

Manor Head Men's Soccer Coach John Dempster served as the emcee for the halftime ceremony.  Family, friends, former teammates, and the 2022 team gathered at the midfield circle.  After Dempster's presentation, juniors Gabriel Elliott (defenseman) (Philadelphia, PA/Frankford) and Eddie Fortescue Jr. (midfielder) (Blue Bell, PA/Wissahickon) unveiled the banner that reads as follows: "Manor College Men's Soccer All-Time Points Leader: Mark Colville – 131".  This banner will hang in the Mother of Perpetual Help Hall Gymnasium.

Statistically, Colville scored the most goals (47), assists (37), and points (131) since Manor joined the NJCAA for the 2008 season.  His 37 assists were the most in NJCAA Division III men's soccer player during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.  Colville's 47 goals and 131 points were second in NJCAA Division III men's soccer during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.  He led NJCAA Division III with 10 game-winning goals in 2013 and became the first Manor men's soccer non-goalkeeper to lead in a NJCAA statistical category.

His award-winning accomplishments with Manor are listed below as follows:

Manor College Awards/Honors

  • 2012 and 2013 Men's Soccer Most Valuable Player.
  • 2013 and 2014 Academic Achievement (3.50+ Grade-Point Average).

EPAC Awards/Honors

  • EPAC Athlete-of-The-Week (October 8-October 14, 2012).
  • EPAC Athlete-of-The Week (September 23-September 29, 2013).
  • 2012 and 2013 All-EPAC Division III Men's Soccer.
  • 2012 and 2013 EPAC Division III Men's Soccer Player-of-The-Year.

NJCAA Region XIX Awards/Honors

  • 2012 and 2013 NJCAA All-Region XIX Division III Men's Soccer First Team.
  • 2012 NJCAA Region XIX Division III Men's Soccer Player-of-The-Year.

NJCAA Awards/Honors

  • 2012 and 2013 NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer First Team All-American (Colville was the first Manor athlete in any sport to be voted an All-American).

During Colville's playing career, the 2012 and 2013 Blue Jays Men's Soccer teams accomplished the following:

  • Manor was 33-3-0 overall (23-1-0 NJCAA Region XIX Division III and 23-1-0 EPAC) during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
  • 2012 (11-1-0) and 2013 (12-0-0) EPAC Men's Soccer Regular Season Champions.
  • 2013 (12-0-0) NJCAA Region XIX Division III Men's Soccer Regular Season Champions.
  • 2012 and 2013 NJCAA Region XIX Division III Postseason Tournament Participants.
  • Spent eight straight weeks in the NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer polls (September 10-October 29, 2013

 

Colville was also the first Manor College Men's Soccer player to play for a NCAA Division I school.  He played for the St. Joseph's University (Pennsylvania) Hawks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
