MANOR COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL VICTORIOUS VERSUS ROWAN COLLEGE SOUTH JERSEY-CUMBERLAND

JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College (4-3) sophomore guard Isaiah Leonard (Philadelphia, PA/Motivation) led both teams with 29 points as the Blue Jays defeated NJCAA Region XIX Division III Rowan College South Jersey-Cumberland Dukes (0-4), 82-76. 

The Blue Jays led 40-31 at the half.  Enoch Clark led both teams with 16 points.  Freshman forward Enoch Clark (Clearwater, FL/Pinellas Park) and sophomore forward Rahmaad Dejarnette (Chester, PA/STEM Academy) scored 13 points apiece.  Leonard added 11 points for Manor.  Freshman guard James Waugh led Cumberland with 10 points.

With Manor leading 80-76, Leonard stole the ball and sealed the Blue Jays' victory with a pair of free throws with 12 seconds left in the second half.  Cumberland outscored Manor in the second half, 45-42.  The Blue Jays were 14 out of 17 from the free throw line, including nine-for-nine from Leonard.  Leonard also led both teams with 18 second-half points.  Freshman guard Kamar Thomas led the Dukes with 17 points.  Freshman guard Torrey Harris added 10 points. 

Individual Statistical Leaders: In addition to Leonard, Enoch Clark scored 19 points and led both teams with 16 rebounds and five blocked shots.  Dejarnette also had a "double-double" with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Sophomore point guard Malik Clark (Philadelphia, PA/Boys' Latin) paced the Blue Jays with five assists. 

Thomas led Cumberland with 24 points.  Waugh scored 17 points and paced both teams with six assists.  Freshman guard Rich Santos added 13 points.  Harris contributed 12 points and led Dukes with 15 rebounds.

Season Series: The Blue Jays are 2-2 overall (2-0 at home) versus the Dukes.  Before this game, Manor's previous home contest versus Cumberland was on November 5, 2016 (Blue Jays won, 99-61). 

Manor versus NJCAA Division III Schools (Since 2008-2009): Manor is 21-11 overall (14-2 at home) versus NJCAA Division III schools since the 2008-2009 season.  The Blue Jays are 20-9 overall (13-1 at home) versus Region XIX Division III schools since 2008-2009.

Next Game: Manor hosts USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades (1-5 overall, 0-1 Eastern States Athletic Conference) 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.  The Blue Jays are 4-0 overall (1-0 at home) versus the Mechanics.  Manor previously played Williamson on November 11, 2014 in Media, Pennsylvania (Blue Jays won, 62-45).  The Blue Jays initial home meeting versus the Mechanics was on January 4, 2014, which Manor won, 100-73.
