MANOR COLLEGE ANNOUNCES ITS ANNUAL STUDENT-ATHLETES AWARDS

JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College handed out its annual student-athlete awards.  Each sport (Men's Basketball, Men's and Women's Country, Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field, Men's and Women's Soccer, and Women's Volleyball) handed out awards for Most Valuable Player, Coaches Award, and Most Improved.  The Terrell L. Bruce Memorial Most Valuable Player Award (Men's Basketball) was also given out.  Awards were given out for academic achievement.  The Brian Barry Award was also handed out for each sport instead of one student-athlete.

The following student-athletes earned academic achievement awards from Manor College with a 3.00 grade-point average (or better):

 

 

Manor College Director of Athletics John Dempster on this year's student-athlete academic achievement award recipients: "Once again our athletes amaze me, even during a crisis.  They rise to the top and do their part to make our department shine.  I am so proud of our academic all-stars and can't wait to see you again in person."

The Brian Barry Award goes to the student-athlete that personifies good sportsmanship and is a team player.  Each sport handed out this award.  Listed below are this year's recipients:

 

 

Dempster on this year's student-athlete award winners: "Although we can't be together, I wanted to personally thank every athlete for their hard work and dedication in and out of athletics.  Being a student-athlete takes a lot of sacrifice, and, we wanted to recognize you today and every day for all you do for the love of your sport...Go Blue Jays!!"
